VERONA – The Nerazzurri players must find a way to get the results that the club demands of them, according to Danilo D'Ambrosio.
"Chievo were better physically, you could see that across the 90 minutes," declared an honest D'Ambrosio in assessment of the first game of the season. "We created few chances in the first half and a bit more in the second, but we weren't able to beat our men on the wings and our play became predictable."
"We have to get the results that the club demands. So many people would love the chance to pull on this shirt: those who get the chance have to show hunger. That's the only way to win and get satisfaction.
"It's up to us to understand that nothing is impossible. We've got top players in this squad, guys who can create problems for the opposition with quality and physical strength.
"There's a nice mix between youth and experience, we have players who have won elsewhere and can steer the team in the right direction."
