VERONA – Nerazzurri vice president Javier Zanetti is full of optimism ahead of the first game of 2016/17.
"We feel this squad can genuinely do well," he said to Mediaset Premium just before kick-off in Verona. "We have to be careful because Chievo are tricky opposition.
"The club is working hard to get back to where we belong. As for Joao Mario and Moussa Sissoko, first we need to pay attention to financial fair play, although we'll try to add a few more players. Do we need to offload Brozovic to unlock the situation? The coach has been clear on Marcelo, we've managed to keep hold of our best players."
