VIGNOLA – Inter Primavera are through to the semi-finals of the 48th Città di Vignola youth tournament after beating Cesena 2-0 on Friday.
Putzolu headed in Cagnano's cross to break the deadlock in the 26th minute before Vanheusden doubled the scores two minutes into the second period, stabbing home through a crowded box following a corner.
Stefano Vecchi's boys will now do battle with Sassuolo at Vignola's Stadio Caduti di Superga on Tuesday 16 August for a place in the final.
