MANPOWERGROUP TEAMS UP WITH INTER

The group becomes the Nerazzurri's premium partner and official supplier for the next three seasons. Zanetti chosen as Manpower's talent ambassador

APPIANO GENTILE – The partnership between the leader in innovative workforce solutions, ManpowerGroup, and F.C. Internazionale was announced today in a press conference at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti.

ManpowerGroup's president of Mediterranean and Eastern Europe Stefano Scabbio and chief financial officer in Italy Giovanna Fontana both spoke at the press conference, alongside Nerazzurri vice president Javier Zanetti and chief revenue officer Michael Gandler.

"ManpowerGroup believes in talent and has invested in sport for many years," said Scabbio. "It's a sector that is continually evolving and increasingly looking for specialised and highly qualified professionals.

"Today we're marking the beginning of this new partnership with Inter, a club that has internationally recognised talent and embodies values such as loyalty, determination and hard work. ManpowerGroup completely shares these important values."

"Manpower has always been dedicated to bringing the best out of professionals, just as our club has always done with footballers," declared Nerazzurri CEO Michael Bolingbroke. "This is the key to the success of both organisations, who have today announced an important partnership together. We share many values and particularly in the sporting field, where Manpower has been extremely active for some time. We are pleased to step out in this new direction, which will help both of our organisations achieve their objectives."

Scabbio welcomed Javier Zanetti into his new role as talent ambassador for ManpowerGroup. For three years he will accompany the organisation as brand partner and spokesperson for multiple projects aimed at enhancing talent, such as the Human Age Institute.

ManpowerGroup's regional president also highlighted last May's Bocelli and Zanetti Night organised by the PUPI Foundation and the Andrea Bocelli Foundation to help the 'Educate for a better world' project. In his words, it was an example of ManpowerGroup's support for the kind of initiative that Zanetti will be involved in over the next few years.

"I have known Stefano Scabbio and his group for a long time," Zanetti said. "We've collaborated before on various occasions, so I've been able to appreciate their professionalism and our shared values, which I strongly believe in.

"I was proud to accept the offer to become the group's talent ambassador. The chance to be taught how to make the most of one's own talent is something I believe to be fundamental in human and professional development. I have personally worked in this area for many years, on behalf of Inter, with the club's many projects involving young people, and my own foundation."

Finally, ManpowerGroup has been named as the official supplier for services involving hospitality, care and safety of supporters. They will also support the club's HR department in innovative workforce solutions.
