MILAN – The draw for the TIM Cup 2016/17 took place this afternoon at the Lega Serie A headquarters.
The first round of the competition begins on 31 July 2016, while 12 clubs from Serie A join the competition in the third round on 13 August 2016.
Inter were seeded third behind Napoli (1) and Roma (2) and ahead of Juventus (4), AC Milan (5), Lazio (6), Sassuolo (7) and Fiorentina (8). The Nerazzurri cup campaign gets under way in the last-16 stage in January 2017.
