BUSTO ARSIZIO – "A memorable day that filled our hearts with joy," was how Betty Borroni, the president of Inter Club Busto Arsizio, described the afternoon spent at the glorious Stadio Speroni in Busto Arsizio.
The official fans' clubs for Inter, AC Milan, Juventus and Pro Patria all took part in a four-way charity tournament.
"Seeing these kids hugging after the games without caring about the colours of the shirts and the disabled youngsters overjoyed really was an indescribable emotion."
All the proceeds will go to the Italian Association for Assisting the Disabled in Busto Arsizio to help purchase an electronic device to aid walking. Charity Stars also donated signed shirts, balls and other objects donated by football clubs.
Once again Inter Club has shown the generous spirit of a true Inter fan.
