NANJING – Immediately after the inauguration of Inter Academy Yihai Beijing, technical director Marco Monti travelled to the Academy in Nanjing.
The objectives of the visit were to assess local coaches, hold a coaching clinic and plan technical activities for the upcoming three months.
The project currently encompasses 16 coaches and 19 schools, amounting to a total of around 1800 children. Monti also stopped off at the Nanjing Zhiyuan Primary School, where he met headmistress Xie Ying and coaches Luigi Mainolfi and Simone De Luca. It was further confirmation of the great enthusiasm and interest in developing the technical side of the programme.
