MILAN – Salvatore Cerrone’s Berretti side are into the Serie A and B championship final after a 5-1 victory over Salernitana in the second leg of their semi-final tie.
With a 5-1 first-leg win already under their belts, the young Nerazzurri actually fell behind at the Centro Sportivo Giacinto Facchetti only for a wonderful Vago free-kick to level the scores at 1-1. And Vago was clearly in no mood for messing around, as he added two more before the break to hand Inter a 3-1 half-time lead.
Cerrone’s youngsters continued to press after the restart, with Ndiaye and then Magistrelli completing a 5-1 win on the day and a whopping 10-2 aggregate victory.
Inter will take on Torino in the final on Saturday 28 May.
