CALLING IN NO.22

Diego Milito plays his last match as a professional footballer tonight. He wrote his name in Nerazzurri, Italian and European history. Best of luck, Principe!

MILAN - This evening he'll lace up his boots, pull on the No.22 shirt and head out into 'El Cilindro' to play his last game for Racing Club with the same hunger for goals as 17 years ago.

Diego Alberto Milito, El Principe, is to play his last game tonight after a career that has seen him don the colours of Racing Club, Genoa, Real Saragoza and Inter, leaving his mark wherever he has gone.

Of his 75 goals in black and blue, who could forget his decisive contribution to our historic treble in 2010. His strikes against Roma in the Coppa Italia final on 5 May 2010, Siena on the last day of the Serie A season on 16 May and Bayern Munich in the Champions League final on 22 May helped F.C. Internazionale make Italian and European football history.

Best of luck, Diego!
