MILAN – Inter Under-16s set off south this morning for the ninth Lazio Cup. The Nerazzurri, who have won the last three editions of the prestigious international tournament, have been drawn in Group C alongside Frosinone, Katane Soccer and the Chinese national team.
Benoit Cauet's boys kick off against Frosinone on Tuesday 17 May (20:30), then take on Sicilian outfit Katane Soccer on Wednesday 18 May (17:00). Their third and final group match is against China on Thursday 19 May (20:30).
The three group winners and the best second-placed side qualify for the semi-finals, to be played on Friday 20 May, with the final taking place on Saturday 21 May.
Fiorentina, Napoli, Roma and Albania are some of the other teams involved.
