REGGIO EMILIA – Eder was next up to comment on the Nerazzurri's loss against Sassuolo this evening.
"You could tell it wasn't going to be our day after that deflected goal, we reacted but things didn't turn out well and it wasn't easy to come back from that.
"Now we're focused on next season and we'll definitely try to do better."
The Italy striker also gave a brief run-down of his season on a personal level: "I think I did really well until the end of January with Sampdoria, but obviously I expected more of myself during these three months at Inter.
"I joined in a difficult spell and I was aware that changing teams in January wasn't going to be easy.
"Nevertheless, I'm happy with my decision and I know I can do much better beginning the new season with the squad."
