ROME – Samir Handanovic has criticised his side’s performance in the 2-0 defeat by Lazio on Sunday night.
"We were off the pace for the first 25 minutes of the first half. We didn’t start well and gifted them the opener," began Handanovic after the game.
"We’ve not been consistent enough this season – we lack cutting edge. It’s about consistency and mentality and we’ve had too many ups and downs. Our goal was to qualify for the Champions League and we’ve not achieved that.
"There are two matches left now and we must finish fourth. This match is in the past – there’s nothing we can do about it now. Let’s look to the future and go again," he added.
