ABANO TERME – The Giovanissimi Regionali B repeated their triumph of two years ago by winning the Citta di Abana Terme Tournament.
Inter picked up maximum points in the group stage and defeated Anderlecht and Ajax to set up a final against Bayer Leverkusen.
The U13 team coached by Marco Sala managed their 100% record in this year's tournament with a 2-1 scoreline against the Germans.
All the action came in the second half: Ange Josue Chibozo drew Inter level with a splendid free-kick after Bayer had taken the lead before Samuel Poku got the decisive goal in extra-time, sparking wild Nerazzurri celebrations.
