MILAN – Roberto Mancini’s Inter side battled back from a goal down to beat Udinese 3-1 at San Siro on Saturday night. Stevan Jovetic turned the match on its head with a timely brace, while there was more good news as Eder broke his Nerazzurri duck with the last kick of the game.

There were no Italians in either starting eleven on Saturday night, the first time that has happened in a Serie A game this season.

Inter didn’t have a single Italian in their starting eleven for the sixth time this Serie A season.

The win over Udinese was the first time Inter have battled back from a losing position to win all season. The Nerazzurri had only managed three draws and nine losses in the 12 previous games in which they’d fallen behind.

Prior to Saturday night, Inter had lost all four home games in which they had found themselves in a losing position.

Inter had 25 shots in total against Udinese, a record high for the Nerazzurri this season.

Thereau found the net against Inter with his first touch of the game.

Stevan Jovetic has scored eight goals in eight league games against Udinese, making the Friulian side his favourite victims in Serie A. Indeed, his last Serie A goal had come against Udinese back in December.

Marcelo Brozovic had more shots than any other player against Udinese, but only one of his six shots was on target.

Inter had nine shots on target against Udinese, their highest figure since the match against Frosinone in November (10).

This is Inter’s first home win against Udinese since September 2010 – since then the Nerazzurri had picked up only one point in four games when hosting the Friulian side in the league.

Jonathan Biabiany created more goalscoring chances than any other player (8).

Eder scored his first Serie A goal for Inter, becoming the 15th player to find the net for the Nerazzurri this season.
