ABANO TERME – Marco Sala’s Giovanissimi Regionali B side are into the Città di Abano Terme Tournament final.
The young Nerazzurri beat Anderlecht 2-0 in the quarter-finals on Sunday morning, with Chibozo scoring either side of half-time to send Inter through to the semis.
Ajax were the Nerazzurri’s opponents at the semi-final stage, Sala’s youngsters needing penalties to secure their place in the final after a 1-1 draw in normal time (Chibozo scored Inter’s goal from the spot).
It means Inter will now take on Bayer Leverkusen in the final, which will take place on Monday morning at 10:45 CET.
