MILAN - Eder admitted that scoring in today's match against Udinese - putting the seal on Inter's win the third goal deep in injury time - is a boost for his confidence after going several months without finding the net but says he was never particuarly worried by his barren stretch.
"It was a good performance from us today and we created had lots of chances.
"I wasn't worried about not scoring, I just kept on working away in the same way as when I joined. I know what I'm capable of. The gaffer picks the team, there's no problem there. Scoring tonight is a boost from my confidence but I'll think about the Euros after the league season finishes," the Italy forward said after the game.
"There are lots of good strikers at Inter, all as good as each other. The boss has shown us that we need to be ready to come on and do our bit at any time. I'd like to dedicate this goal to my team-mates."
On his versatility: “I've played pretty much everywhere up front in a 4-2-3-1 and I feel comfortable wherever I play. It's easy when there are so many good players around you. Perhaps there have been games where people had a different opinion of me when I haven't scored."
On his future: "I have a contract and I'm only just joined so I'm certainly not thinking about changing teams.”
