MILAN – Javier Zanetti was at Palazzo Marino, Milan Town Hall, for the presentation of the Champions League final today.
"It's a great honour for us to host the final in Milan," the Inter vice president said. "Our club will do everything possible to make sure people remember it as a fantastic final.
"Playing at a stadium like San Siro is always a special occasion, a bit like at the Bernabeu. You play right up close to the crowd and you can really feel it.
"We need to get Italian football back up to the level it's always been at."
Asked to pick a memory from the night Inter won the Champions League in Madrid, the vice president replied: "My face in the moment when I lift the trophy. It doesn't even look like me."
