STANKOVIC: "VITAL RUN OF GAMES"

"After the great performance against Napoli, we must continue proving our worth," the Nerazzurri first team club manager told Mediaset Premium

GENOA Dejan Stankovic is under no illusions that Inter’s away match at Genoa on Wednesday is the first in a vital run of games for the Nerazzurri.

"We can’t slip up after the great performance against Napoli. It would be great if we can prove that we’re a well-organised team that can rise to the big occasions. This is a vital run of games for us to keep believing in what it not an impossible objective," began Stankovic.

"When you play for a big club everyone expects results straight away. We’ve changed a lot in building this team and we need time, but I hope we continue the way we have been," he continued.

Finally, Stankovic commented on the Totti situation: "It’s nothing. He’ll always be a legend for Roma and for Italian football. Every has to do what works for them – I hope it finishes well for all concerned."
