ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT INTER V NAPOLI

We bring you all the key stats on the Nerazzurri’s 2-0 Week 33 win over Napoli at the San Siro on Saturday night

MILAN – Inter secured an impressive 2-0 win over Napoli at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Saturday night, with Mauro Icardi and Marcelo Brozovic bagging the goals.

We’ve teamed up with Opta to bring you the need-to-know stats on the match:

Inter have won ten of their last 13 home games against Napoli in the league, with two draws and a win for the Partenopei completing the record.

This is Inter’s second clean sheet at home in 2016 (they’ve played eight league games at the San Siro this calendar year).

Saturday’s win mean the Nerazzurri have kept back-to-back clean sheets in Serie A for the first time since December.

Napoli failed to score for just the fifth time this season.

Mauro Icardi’s 15th goal of the season came from his first shot of the game and his fourth touch.

Considering players who have scored ten or more goals this season, Icardi boasts the best conversion rate: 34.1% (15 goals from 44 shots attempted, blocked shots not included).

Icardi has now scored in three consecutive league appearances for the second time this campaign – he had already done it between December and January (against Udinese, Lazio and Empoli).

Icardi’s 15 goals this season have been scored all from inside the penalty area. Overall, 52 of his 56 Serie A goals have come from inside the box.

Icardi scored and made an assist in the same game for the second time this Serie A campaign.

Napoli’s two shots on target came in the first 30 minutes’ play.

Stevan Jovetic was the only player to have more than a one shot on target (2).
