MILAN – There was derby delight for the Nerazzurri in the Under 17 Serie A e B championship today.
Gianmario Corti's team added to the 3-0 victory in the reverse fixture with a 2-0 win over AC Milan at the Centro Sportivo Giacinto Facchetti this afternoon, bagging their 11th straight victory in the process.
Inter made a lightning-quick start and were 2-0 up inside the first 20 minutes, Gaetano Maranzino converting a penalty won by Pio Russo in the third minute and Xian Emmers scoring directly from a corner in the 16th.
The expected Rossoneri reaction didn't come and Inter were content to control proceedings for the rest of the game, coming close to adding to the scoreline on a number of occasions.
