TURIN – Inter youth academy director Roberto Samaden praised the Primavera after their 1-0 defeat of Juventus in the first leg of the Primavera Coppa Italia final on Thursday night.
"We’ve won the first of two rounds with organisation and hard work – and a bit of luck too," said Samaden after the game. "It’s no wonder it was a really even game – there were two great teams going at it. This side is able to show its worth even in the tough times."
Samaden also spoke about Rey Manaj and Assane Gnoukouri, two of the first-team squad members involved on Thursday night: "They’re technically gifted with a great mentality. They’ve made a massive contribution already."
