In an interview with Mediaset, the Frenchman said: "You can always do better both from an individual perspective and as a team. We always need to demand more from ourselves and give 100% at all times. Now we'll take things one game at a time, beginning with Saturday's match against Frosinone. Kondogbia also spoke about his decision to join the Nerazzurri last summer, explaining: "You can't turn down a club like Inter, not least because they have a very exciting project for a young player like me. The national team is definitely a target of mine but first and foremost I need to perform consistently on a weekly basis at Inter."
