STANKOVIC: "EIGHT FINALS FROM HERE TO THE END"

The Nerazzurri club manager was speaking ahead of kick-off in Inter v Torino: "We're doing well and playing good football. We mustn't give up"

MILAN – Mediaset Premium grabbed a few words from Dejan Stankovic just before kick-off in Inter v Torino.

Before anything else, the Nerazzurri club manager paused to reflect on the news that Cesare Maldini had passed away this morning: "I'd like to commemorate him and pass on my most sincere condolences to his family.

"As for Roberto Mancini's future, there are no doubts about it. I've already said that he's our coach and he's fully invested in this project along with president Erick Thohir.

"Now we have to focus on the game ahead and take things one match at a time. We're coming up against a top opponent, but we've prepared well.

"Unfortunately, it's not just up to us but our aim is to get as many points as possible. We're doing well and playing good football. We cannot give up from here until the end, we've got eight finals ahead of us."
