MEZZAGO - Stefano Bellinzaghi’s Inter U15s side returned to league action with a 1-0 win away at Giana Erminio on Sunday thanks to a Vergani goal five minutes into the second half.
After a low-key first half, the Nerazzurri began the second period in more aggressive fashion and were rewarded after just five minutes as Vergani fired home a right-footed effort following some nice individual play by Sakho.
More chances followed for Vergani, Ansani, Sakho and Mangiarotti, but there were to be no more goals as Inter secured a valuable three points.
