MILAN – The Inter Grassroots Programme (IGP) is set to expand with its brand-new Inter Grassroots Day.
The Inter youth academy will be organising the event, which is set to take place on Sunday 3 April, with participation from Lombard IGP clubs and the two Milanese training centres, Enotria and Inter Academy. Indeed, the event will be held at the Inter Academy sports centre in Via Cilea 51.
The day will include technical and educational sessions for the Pulcini (class of 2005) teams of the participating clubs, as well as the opportunity for the grassroot-activity coordinators and coaches to speak with Inter youth academy personnel.
At the end of the day, all of the participants will be invited to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, where the Inter Girls U13 squad will kick off proceedings with a seven-a-side match at 19:00 CET. Afterwards, they’ll be able to watch the Inter first team take on Torino (20:45 CET kick-off) and even head out onto the hallowed turf itself at half-time.
