APPIANO GENTILE – With the Nerazzurri hard at work ahead of Sunday’s visit of Torino, defender Danilo D’Ambrosio told Inter Channel that the squad must focus on getting the three points to continue their good run of form.
"We need to prepare well for Sunday evening’s game because it’s a key match if we want to achieve our objectives. We’re coming off the back of a few positive results, unlike Torino, but they’re a well-organised side with a very able coach who sets his teams up well.
"We’re working really well and hope to continue this good run of results. It’s a special match for me because I had four great years there, but as soon as the referee blows his whistle I’ll put my emotions to one side."
D’Ambrosio also discussed his national team ambitions: "I’ve always said that first thing I need to give Mancini a decision to make, then it’s about playing well and repaying his faith. I’ve never stopped dreaming about the national team and I’ll try to do my best to achieve that goal."
