MODENA – The Inter Berretti side crushed Padova 6-1 on Saturday to make it two wins from two at the Claudio Sassi Memorial tournament.
Salvatore Cerrone’s Nerazzurri were two goals to the good inside 20 minutes thanks to Magistrelli and Ndiaye, though Padova pulled one back on the half-hour mark to send the teams in for half-time at 2-1.
Inter stepped it up a gear after the break, with a Lizzola double followed by goals from Braidich and lastly Zanetti to complete a 6-1 trouncing.
Cerrone’s youngsters have their last game of the group against Machida Zelvia on Sunday at 11:00 CET, with the semi-finals then taking place at 18:30 CET.
