LJAJIC: "ROMA A SPECIAL GAME"

The Serb chats to Mediaset Premium two days before the big match against his former side at the Olimpico: "I don't bear any grudges, I just want to do well for Inter"

APPIANO GENTILE - As the hours count down to Saturday's crunch encounter at the Olimpico, former Giallorossi man Adem Ljajic has admitted that it will a special game for him.

However, the 24-year-old insists he will put all feelings to one side and focus on getting a result that could prove crucial to Inter in the race for third place and Champions League qualification.

"At the start of the season I didn't think this would be a decisive game for third place. I expected Roma to be challenging for other targets. Now we're up there and it's a massive match for us especially, because they're five points ahead of us. We have to play our game and try to win it because we want to fight for third place – it's very important to us."

Ljajic will be facing his former employers on Saturday but insists he bears no grudges. "I was very happy at Roma and I spent two great years there which I'll  always remember fondly. I made lots of friends who I'm sure I'll stay friends with for life. But Roma is in the past now and I'm focused only on Inter. It's certainly going to be a special game for me and I'll have mixed feelings but I just want to give my all for this team."
