ZANETTI: "WE NEED TO BUILD ON RECENT RESULTS"

Vice president ahead of Inter v Bologna: "We want to put together a team capable of playing expansive football. We must win tonight - Roma comes later"

MILAN - Inter must continue their recent good form and get another result against Bologna tonight. That's what Javier Zanetti told Mediaset Premium shortly before kick-off at the Meazza insisting that the team's focus is solely on this match.

"It would be a huge mistake if we were already thinking about Roma. First of all we have to win tonight against Bologna – that's the most important thing," the vice president explained."

Inter are looking to build up a bit of consistency after a magnificent performance against Juventus and last weekend's win over Palermo. "That's right, we do need to start knocking out results regularly and I think the lads are capable of doing that."

On the race for third place: "There aren't all that many games left and Roma have been playing superbly of late. But, as I said, this is the most important match for us so that we can prepare for next Saturday's visit to the Olimpico as best we can."

Finally, the vice president replied to a question on transfers: "It's important to assess the market in Italy. We want to build a team capable of playing expansive football. Lots of players take a while to adjust to the Italian league but the signs are good for the future."
