INTER ACADEMY GEARING UP FOR NANJING LAUNCH

The groundwork is being laid for the inauguration of a new Inter Academy in the Chinese province of Jiangsu

MILAN - A new Inter Academy is set to open in Nanjing, with start-up operations rapidly gathering pace in the province of Jiangsu.

Two Inter Academy coaches, Luigi Mainolfi and Simone De Luca, will set up in the Chinese province at the end of March to begin work with the ten schools and 20 trainers selected for the project, following a careful assessment process.

Inter Academy Technical Operations Manager Aldo Montinaro has recently travelled to Nanjing from Shanghai - where an Inter Academy was set up with Yitao F.C. last year - to assist in finalising details for the inauguration of the new Inter Academy. Nerazzurri youth academy coaches will work in Jiangsu for nine months of the year, while there will also be regular visits from the project coordinators for training and monitoring purposes.

Meanwhile, Inter Academy Jiangsu president Mr. Pan is in Italy for a series of institutional meetings and to coordinate the presentation of the project's programme, which will be attended in Nanjing by F.C. Internazionale Director of Global Youth Business Barbara Biggi and Inter Academy Technical Director Marco Monti.

Back in China, members of the Nanjing government are to visit Shanghai over the coming days to observe the Inter Academy project with Yitao F.C., which has received widespread praise and recognition for its contribution to the development of youth football in China. Besides Aldo Montinaro, Inter Academy Business Development Manager Luca Franchini will also be present to assess the many partnership requests Inter Academy has received from the East.
