MILAN – Fresh from bagging third place at the Al Kass International Cup in Qatar, F.C. Internazionale have announced that Gianmario Corti’s Under 17 Serie A and B side will be taking part in the 45th edition of the Città di Arco Cup, which is held in memory of journalist Beppe Viola.
The Nerazzurri youngsters, who have been drawn in Group D for the international tournament, will kick off their campaign on Wednesday against the Lega Pro XI (Avio, 15:00 CET kick-off). Corti’s side will play their second match against Chievo Verona on Friday (Mori, 15:00 CET kick-off), before contesting their last group-stage game against Napoli on Saturday 12 March (Arco – Via Pomerio, 15:00 CET kick-off).
The semi-finals are scheduled to take place on Sunday 13 March, with the final itself set for Tuesday 15 March. Also participating in the tournament are Roma, AC Milan, Juventus, Fiorentina and Torino, while American outfit F.C. Weston have made the trip over from Florida.
