MILAN – The draw for the 68th Viareggio Cup took place at the Gran Teatro Puccini in Torre del Lago on Monday morning.
Stefano Vecchi’s Inter Primavera side – who won the trophy last season – will raise the curtain on the tournament with a match against Macedonia outfit Akademija Pandev at the Stadio T. Bresciani in Viareggio on Monday 14 March (15:00 CET kick-off).
The Nerazzurri’s other two group-stage matches will be against Spezia (Wednesday 16 March at the Stadio Luperi in Sarzana) and APIA Leichhardt (Saturday 19 March at the Stadio Comunale di Altopascio), with both matches kicking off at 15:00 CET.
Last-16 matches are scheduled for Wednesday 23 March, while the quarter-finals are due to take place on Friday 25 March. The semi-finals will be on Monday 28 March, with the grand final set for Wednesday 30 March.
