MILAN – Franco Scarcelli, president of the Inter Club Cuneo in Piedmont, reveals how they express their devotion to the Nerazzurri colours.
The Inter Club family even extends to Piedmont, representing a huge family that brings so many fans together who have decided to express their passion in a special way and share their love for Inter.
When and how did Inter Club Cuneo come about?
"Inter Club Cuneo began in 2002 with a group of friends who were big Inter fans and wanted to bring together as many fellow supporters in Cuneo as possible in order to celebrate our love for the club."
Is there an event hosted by your Inter Club that you are particularly proud of?
"In 2011, the vice president Javier Zanetti, then the club captain, came to Cuneo for an event we had organised to raise funds for the Pupi Foundation. It really was a magical occasion for the 800 people present."
Which Inter Club Coordiation Centre event do your members remember the most?
"The hospitality for junior members during a match at San Siro. For many kids, it was their first time at the stadium and they took home bags of excitement."
How do you involve junior members?
"We want to involve as many youngsters as possible. We're working on proposing activities that will allow us to discover the places that best represent our Nerazzurri colours."
How do you express your bond with the club?
"Mainly through social events at our headquarters. We opened our new space in June 2015: a 140 square-metre area where we put on different activities and services for our members, including the opportunity to watch matches. We also organise travel to San Siro to cheer on our beloved Inter all together."
