TURIN – Inter's vice president Javier Zanetti found time to speak just before Sunday's late kick-off between Juventus and Inter.
"Who wouldn't want to be involved in these kinds of games? Our team has prepared for it in the best way possible and we want to do well.
"Let's concentrate on this match, it's the only way to give a positive response to everything that's been written."
When Inter come up against Juventus, it's always a unique contest: "We're expecting a great match against a top side but we're also aware we can easily match them.
"The history of these two clubs speaks loud and clear, two of football's greats are coming up against each other.
"We come into this game with excitement but aware of the quality of our opponents."
Finally, Javier Zanetti had a comment on the team's run of form at the moment.
"We were in top spot until Christmas but then January hurt us a lot and we must chase the fundamental third-place finish.
"Erick Thohir has always been straight with us, the newspaper headlines are surprising because they don't reflect the reality."
