ORSENIGO – A goal by Jose Correia deep into stoppage time finally broke Como's resistance and enabled Inter Primavera to secure three big points this afternoon.
A match low on quality due to the horrendous weather conditions saw the Nerazzurri carve out the better chances but Como goalkeeper Andrenacci came up big to keep the scores goalless. Until the 93rd minute that is, when Correia burst down the left, skipped past Andrenacci and slotted into the empty net.
Victory sees Inter extend their lead to five points at top of the table following Cagliari's defeat to Verona with third-placed AC Milan due to play on Sunday.
