APPIANO GENTILE – Inter Primavera forward Christian Kouame has spoken of his joy at being a Nerazzurri player in his first interview with Inter Channel.
"There’s a fantastic group here," began Kouame, who joined up with Stefano Vecchi’s youngsters in January. "Everything’s perfect with my team-mates and the coach. I’m happy to be here."
The 18-year-old Ivorian forward also spoke about his preferred position on the pitch: "Last year, I began the season at Sassuolo playing on the wing. I did well and so that became my position. Mr Vecchi asks us wingers to give our all in both attack and defence. It’s not easy but I try to do my best at all times."
Kouame was also asked about the team’s objectives this season and his own wider aims: "I like to study Icardi. I’d love to learn how he scores so many goals. For the coming months we’d like to win the Coppa Italia and Viareggio Cup so we can then focus on the Scudetto."
