MILAN – Nicola Berti and Riccardo Ferri, two stalwarts of the Inter side that won the record-breaking Scudetto, the Italian Super Cup and two UEFA Cups between 1988 and 1994, will be presented with special awards in the build-up to Saturday’s match between Inter and Sampdoria.
The Inter legends will be awarded Inter Forever jerseys in recognition of their work within the project. It promises to be the perfect chance for fans to welcome back two men whose contribution to the Nerazzurri cause will stand the test of time.
Berti, moreover, was recently named the Nerazzurri’s Inter Club ambassador. Speaking about the appointment, F.C. Internazionale venue commercial director David Garth declared: "He has a wonderful relationship with the Inter fans and so was the perfect choice for this role."
Riccardo Ferri is the director of Inter Academy Florida.
