A conference entitled "The value of hosting mega sport events as a social, economic, and environmental sustainable development tool" is being held at the United Nations' Trusteeship Council between 10:00 and 13:00 today.
Inter Campus coach Karla Gutierrez will take the floor during the event. Gutierrez began working in the Queretaro centre in Mexico and now heads up the project in the country. She previously worked in the New York programme and took part - first as a student, then as a tutor - in two editions of the UNOSDP's Youth Leadership Camp, an official partner of Inter Campus.
