MILAN – Fabio Sacco’s Inter Esordienti side are through to the XIII Torneo Carnevale di Gallipoli - Coppa Santa Maria di Leuca quarter-finals.
The Nerazzurri got their campaign off to a great start with an 8-0 win over Leeds. Inter were held to a 0-0 draw by Eurosport Brindisi in their second game, before securing top spot in the group with a 2-1 defeat of Capo di Leuca in the final group match.
Inter will now take on Atalanta in the quarter-finals on Monday morning after the Bergamo-based side won Group B (kick-off at 10:30 CET at the Stadio De Santis in Poggiardo). The semi-finals will take place in the afternoon.
