ICARDI: "THREE POINTS ALL THAT MATTERS"

Skipper interviewed pitchside after bagging the winner against Chievo: "We played well and had lots of chances. We have to keep plugging away till the end"

MILAN - Mauro Icardi grabbed the only goal of the game as Inter returned to winning ways with victory over Chievo at the Meazza.

The Nerazzurri could have had many more tonight but after the match the Argentine hitman stressed that winning is the only thing that counts.

"It doesn't matter how many we score as long as we get the three points. We played well and created lots of chances but Seculin was in fine fettle today.

"Does that make up for me hitting the post in the derby? I haven't had much luck with the woodwork lately. I hit the bar today too...

"We have to keep plugging away till the end and see where it takes us. You never know in football."
