MILAN – Dejan Stankovic believes hard work is the only way for Inter to come through their current spell.
"We need to get our heads down and work hard," the first team club manager told Inter Channel, speaking after the 3-0 defeat to AC Milan on Sunday night. "We’ve had some great times when we were winning, but it’s after periods like these – after defeats – that the team really matures."
Stankovic gave his analysis of the game: "In the first half we needed to be a bit more clinical with that final pass or with looking to shoot a bit more. I congratulate AC Milan but we had them in the first half."
Last but not least, Stankovic spoke about the team’s current form: "We’re there every day and we know that the lads are really humble. We can improve our play, but they’re working really hard and listening to what the boss is telling them. Tough times happen and we know that – this is when we need to show we can deal with the pressure and come through it."
