STANKOVIC: "NOT A NORMAL GAME"

Club manager speaks before first leg of Coppa Italia semi-final against Juventus: "I'd pay to be out there tonight"

TURIN - Dejan Stankovic says he'd love to be pulling on an Inter jersey again for this evening's match against Juventus, which he describes as "not a normal game".

"We have to be fired up for this tonight," the Nerazzurri club manager told Inter Channel and Rai in the build-up to the Coppa Italia semi-final first leg at Juventus Stadium.

"The Derby d'Italia not a normal game - it's always difficult and intensely fought.

"We have to be smart about things tonight because this tie is played over 180 minutes. We have to stay on our toes and do well here, then when we go back to Milan and play in front of our own fans it will be a different matter.

"We're playing a team in good form but we're in decent shape too. It's true that we've had a few setbacks recently but we're still in line to achieve our targets. The players seem calm and they've been working well in training.

"Big matches like this call for big players. I'd pay to be out there tonight but I've done my bit and we have a fantastic group of lads. We've got plenty of character but a great game like this always gets you fired up."
