THE RIGHTS OF THE CHILD

Children have special rights which Inter Campus helps them to enjoy through sport

MILAN - Children are not just small adults. Whether it's medicine, education, sports or any other sphere, they are different. In the eyes of the law it's the same, and they have special rights protecting them until they reach adulthood.

For example, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child says that "every child has the right to rest and leisure, to engage in play and recreation".

Inter Campus restores children's right to play – a fundamental part of every person's development.

In many places throughout the world, children are forced to give up their free time and help their parents by working, raising younger members of the family or even carrying out illegal activities.

Thanks to football, Inter's coaches and the Nerazzurri jersey, thousands of children are given the chance to enjoy their free time in ways they otherwise wouldn't be able to.

For children, playing is not just a right; it's also the best way for them to learn.
