JAKARTA – Inter president Erick Thohir attended a news conference in Indonesia this morning to present the official partnership between F.C. Internazionale and Persib Bandung.
The Indonesian side, who won the league title in 2014 and the President Cup in 2015, will thus have the opportunity to learn from the wealth of experience acquired by Inter's youth academy and the expertise of our coaches as well as coming into close contact with our cutting-edge facilities.
Speaking at today's media conference, president Thohir said: "Football starts with youth coaching and we believe Inter can help develop both Persib's coaches and their youngsters through this partnership."
Persib Bandung head coach Djadjang Nurjaman will visit Inter in January to take part in a series of technical sessions aimed at sharing training methods. Nurjaman will also follow the Nerazzurri U16 and U19 teams in games during his stay in Italy.
