MILAN - Javier Zanetti spoke to Mediaset Premium about his hopes for the future of the current Inter team before tonight's match against Lazio, the Nerazzurri's last game of the calendar year.
"We want to end the year with a win," the vice president stressed. "Lazio aren't an easy team to play against - even if they have stuggled a bit lately - but we want a good result."
Asked about the possibility of Jonathan Calleri joining Inter, Zanetti added: "He's a top striker but at the moment he doesn't play for Inter. We're really determined to be a success. We have a close-knit group and it's really nice to see the atmosphere we've got here. I hope this Inter side can become even better than the one I was in. We have a strong squad and everyone is doing their bit."
