MILAN – Salvatore Cerrone’s Berretti side strengthened their hold on top spot in the league table with a 4-1 win over Pavia on Sunday.
The Nerazzurri took the lead on 37 minutes after Vago scored from a corner, but Pavia equalised to ensure the scores were level at the break.
Inter stepped up a gear in the second half, Cagnano firing home four minutes after the restart before Carraro (62) and Vago (87) put the result beyond doubt.
