STANKOVIC: "AIMING TO FINISH AS HIGH AS POSSIBLE"

Club manager interviewed ahead of tonight's Serie A Week 16 clash with Udinese

UDINE - Dejan Stankovic took a few moments to discuss Inter's form and targets on his return to the Stadio Friuli for the Nerazzurri's Serie A Week 16 match against Udinese.

"I had a good year here and it's nice to come back to Udine," began our club manager, who spent last season in a coaching role at the Friuli-based outfit.

"This is a huge game for us tonight. We're in good form and we're playing good football but we're in for a tough match because Udinese have improved loads and physically they're in good shape."

The Serbian was then asked about Mancini's latest "surprise" line-up: "Mancini always puts out the best 11 players," the former midfielder replied.

Stankovic also discussed the Nerazzurri's aims for the season: "We're Inter so we can't be coy about things. Our target is to finish as high as possible. Winning matches helps you grow. Hopefully we can get two more wins against Udinese and Lazio and end 2015 on a high."
