Gianmario Corti's youngsters had already raced into a two-goal lead by the time the 15-minute mark ticked round, with Castilla supplying the finish to Emmers' cross on three minutes and then finishing from a Russo pass 11 minutes later. The match was sewn up seven minutes after the restart as Rover fired Inter into what proved to be an unassailable 3-0 lead.
