PALACIO TO INTERNOS: "I WANT TO WIN WITH INTER"

"We're determined and confidence is increasing game after game. I want to win and I'll give everything for this shirt"

APPIANO GENTILE – Today it was the turn of Rodrigo Palacio to chat to InterNos for their traditional Thursday evening slot on Inter Channel.

The Nerazzurri forward was fielding questions from fans on Inter Channel's social media platforms and via sms: "The best goal I scored for Inter was against Bologna in a Coppa Italia tie, a volley from outside the area!

"I am a team player as well, I will always pass the ball if a team-mate is in a better position to score.

"I'm happy working under Roberto Mancini. He's very talented, has a lot of experience and is leading us in the right direction. We have to learn from him," the Argentine continued.

Palacio was very clear on his immediate future at the club: "I want to win things with Inter. We have a good squad and we're working hard to give ourselves every possibility of winning. We're determined. We must increase our confidence with every game. The coach is changing two or three players every week, but you don't notice that on the pitch. That means there's balance in the squad."

Palacio is coming up against his former side Genoa on Saturday. "I spent three wonderful years in Genoa. This team welcomed me into Italian football, but now I play for Inter and I want to win. I'll give everything for this shirt."

Finally, the Nerazzurri star revealed how he spends some of his downtime with the rest of team before games: "We play video games: Juan Jesus is the best at football, but I prefer motorcycle games. I play against Juan Pablo Carrizo, as we both love MotoGP. I might also watch a film. Of course, there are always the classic card games."

The full interview will be broadcast this evening at 21:00 CET on Inter Channel, as part of the InterNos programme.
