ROME - Corporate director Michael Williamson was joined by chief communications officer Robert Faulkner and first team club manager Dejan Stankovic for a trip to Palazzo Montecitorio today. The trio stopped off at parliament headquarters on their way back from Naples, meeting the members of Inter Club Parlamento, opened in 2002 and boasting nearly 100 fans.

The delegation were greeted by Stefano Dambruoso, president of Inter Club Parlamento and Quaestor of the Chamber of Deputies. He gave the trio a tour of the Chamber and the historic rooms of Palazzo Montecitorio.

"We were honoured to visit parliament - the heart of Italian history - today," said Dejan Stankovic. "We say a big thankyou to Inter Club Parlamento and its president Stefano Dambruoso. Erick Thohir sends his best wishes to the Nerazzurri members of parliament. He wanted to thank this Inter Club, based here in Palazzo Montecitorio, for their passion, which is what unites Inter Clubs both in Italy and all over the world."

The meeting also gave the first team club manager a chance to comment on last night's match at the San Paolo: "We'll come back even stronger from the defeat because the team showed battling spirit and quality play with a massive second-half performance. And the two efforts off the woodwork will soon be going our way, we're sure of that."
